1.When speaking with non-Norwegians in English the most important parts are to speak clearly so they hear every word, do not mutte, then they wont understand you as easily. Grammmar and pronunciation is also important, if you say words wrong Norwegians will more likely understand what you are saying, but not a non-native speaker of Norwegian.
2. Summing up the pargraphs from page 22 to 25:
Here there and everywhere: The evolution and spreading of the English language thoughout the world, from natives speaker to the “outer” and “expanding” sircles of the language.
Vocabulary: There has come about a new era of english words, from the “inner” and “outer” sircles of the world, this has made the language adapt and made it a more varied language.
Standards: New forms of Englsih speaking has come, as the language has spread it has changed how people talk to each other, but it is nessesary to have a standard form of English as a basis for learning.
Other “Englishes”: How people speak English has changed in different parts of the world, giving birth to variety of oral english, often shorting and changing worlds.
The future of Englsih: In the future some belive there will be three forms of Englsih, one local talk and dialect, another for the national stage, education and buisness and finaly one standard version for international talk between people
